Hunsingers has been serving Haldimand County and surrounding areas for over 135 years.  The business was started in 1881 by Peter Hunsinger when they used wooden pumps and windmills. In the 1900’s they began using electric pumps.  The business has been passed down through four generations of the family, after Peter Ed and Merril Hunsinger ran the family business and it still remains in the Hunsinger family.  In 1992 Ray & Linda Hunsinger succeeded Merril in operating the family business.  In 2010 Ray and Linda’s son David came on board to become the fifth generation involved in the business.
